Pitt Commons is a web portal that allows students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the University to connect and to establish networking and/or mentoring relationships specific to their interests and academic and career goals.
The Undergraduate Studies staff of the Office of the Provost works to improve undergraduate education. They develop and facilitate programs to improve student satisfaction and retention, and diversity. In addition, Undergraduate Studies staff members coordinate the review of programs and policies affecting undergraduate education, including academic planning proposals, transfer credit and articulation agreements, and academic integrity issues. They also work with such committees as the Provost's Advisory Committee on Undergraduate Programs and the Enrollment Management Steering Committee.
