Maggie Dykstra
- Academic Coordinator, Kessler Provost Scholars Program
Magdalene Dykstra is the Academic Coordinator for the Kessler Provost Scholars Program, which provides holistic academic, financial, and social support to exceptional students who are among the first in their family to attend college, helping them forge their own path and achieve their dreams.
In this role, she advises, coaches, and coordinates academic interventions. She also facilitates and plans Kessler Scholar, Provost Scholar, Provost Academy, and university-wide academic sponsored activities, such as the Academic Success Academy.
Maggie came to the Student Success Team from Pitt TRIO SSS where she was the Academic Coordinator and Academic Advisor. She also served at the UPJ campus and has much experience working with first-generation college students, provisional students, and exploratory students. She obtained her MA in Student Affairs in Higher Ed from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
