Personalized Tools for Enhancing Engagement among Undergraduate Business Students
Abstract
The proposed project focuses on two key segments of undergraduate business students in an attempt to enhance engagement and improve their utilization of critical sources of support. These two segments include students within their junior year in the program as this is a critical time for career decisions and first‐year students who are experiencing academic trouble after the fall term as this is a critical point for early academic intervention. We plan to utilize two methods of personalized education tools, collect data to determine their impact and then outline plans for continued use and scalability. These approaches for business juniors and first‐year students who are experience academic trouble are designed to be specific to the needs of these two key segments in a way that tailors the educational and student support interventions to the unique needs of these two student populations.
